· Originally built in the 1950s by Allie Libby as a flyout destination, these charming log cabins are perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape. Located on the scenic 2-mile-long Chandler Pond, surrounded by ridges and mountains. The cabin is easily accessible by seaplane or a 100-yard walk followed by a short boat ride across the pond. Tote sled included to haul your gear the 100 yards to the lake. The road access is 46 miles from town over a gravel road.
Enjoy prime fishing for trout and salmon on Chandler Pond, or 15 minute hike to nearby Spring Pond, a renowned remote fly-fishing trout haven where we stash canoes. The area also offers excellent bird and deer hunting and hikes to Grant and Beetle Mountains.
Your stay includes exclusive use of two cabins: a sleeping cabin with 2 full beds and 2 single beds, and a cook cabin featuring a fully equipped kitchen and a twin bed. You’ll also have access to a 15-foot canoe, a 17-foot canoe, a 17’ square stern canoe and a 14-foot boat, perfect for exploring the surrounding waters. Fresh drinking water is available from a natural spring.
